You're a mean one

I just got through my second argument with our intern,
Missy, on why "The Grinch" was not worthy to be a part of our current
online poll. When discussing which holiday movies we should put on the poll,
last week, Missy perked up with the suggestion "The Grinch” claiming that
it was her favorite holiday movie. I may have overreacted when I exploded in
disbelief. “Who likes that movie?” Both Missy and our business director, Lee, tried
to defend it, but I wouldn’t have any of it. Watching “The Grinch” was the most
painful experience of my 2001 life. That is one movie that doesn’t fill my
heart with holiday warmth. What do you think? Should we have included it with
the likes of “Christmas Vacation,” “Elf,” The Santa Clause,” “Home Alone,” and “The
Christmas Story?” Did we miss one of your favorites, that should have made the
list?

The ORIGINAL "How the Grinch

The ORIGINAL "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." I rather loathe the new one, but the animated classic, narrated by Boris Karlov? How could you miss that one!

The original How the Grinch

The original How the Grinch Stole Christmas ROX! The Jim Carrey version is agonizing.

We'll be doing another poll

We'll be doing another poll with the "Animated" favorites closer to Christmas with Rudolph, Charlie Brown and the rest. The original is a classic for sure.
