After game 2, I'm not exactly in a talkative mood. And since I don't think anybody is listening to me just yet, I will keep this brief.
Sure Kobe and the Lakers shot more than twice as many free throws as the Jazz even though they were the more aggressive team. That much can't be disputed. But what is the deal with D-Will getting beaten to death everytime he drove to the lane for a total of two free throws? It's absurd. Before I go on, let me address Laker fans from L.A. You're from L.A., and therefore are perfectly justified cheering for them. So forgive me.
Here is why I hate the Lakers. No, loathe The Lakers. They are The Yankees meets Paris Hilton. They are basketball meets The O.C. meets Wal Mart. They are sports meets dirty greed, arrogant rich people and wannabes. They are led by the so-called MVP (who earlier this season demanded a trade because his team wasn't good enough for him before getting bailed by a Gasol-for-nobody-trade), a guy who is a proven...well, you know. And in typical Laker style, he is idolized. Anybody who is familiar with their series' against the Blazers and Kings earlier this decade knows that they get favored by the refs. Yet, what can you do? The media is so caught up fawning over the Lakers and their Hollywood friends, they couldn't give a care less whether smaller teams get a fair chance on the court; let alone women from Colorado. Yeah, that's right, I just went there. My point is, I loathe The Lakers.
Sorry if I sound bitter. I am. Very bitter. I'm a Utah Jazz fan, who secretly knows we don't have a chance to win this series. Do I think we're the better team? Yes. Does it matter. Of course not.
I agree. I just wish I
I agree. I just wish I could watch a Lakers game without having to see Jack Nicholson wearing sunglasses at night, indoors. I mean, what's the deal with that??? Although, as many bad calls as their were, nothing can quite describe my disdain in Boozer's inability to penetrate.
Ugh Hem, I will be
Ugh Hem,
I will be wearing my Lakers Jersey to the office today and sing triumphant tunes as i represent the west coast, as well as winnerz across the nation.
