At midnight, before The Wedding Issue was set to go to
print, I failed to sing to myself ‘â€I†before “E†except after “C.â€â€™ And
because of that, I am the one that spelled “received†wrong in this latest
issue. I’m admitting this because it does not reflect the quality of work that our
copy editor, Joanna, does for us. She is so thorough and really takes her job seriously.
Words and punctuation are her life. She loves them, she really does, and so I
don’t want her to take the blame for my lousy spelling error. Lesson learned.
Messing something else up,
Chief
Oh yeah, there was another mess up. We forgot to give credit
to the Acaydia School of Aesthetics for their help with Camilla Hodge’s
articles on skin care for this issue.
Dear Acaydia, that was my fault too. Look for a more formal apology
in our next issue. Thanks for your help.
Two strikes.
If you need me, I’ll be in time out.
