The Square Life

After a couple years’ absence, brothers Ben and Chad Truman are making quite the comeback with their surprisingly polished pop rock band creatively named Truman (jk, guys...It’s great!). They have been a prominent fixture in Provo, taking first place in BYU’s Battle of the Bands in both 2006 and 2007. Since Chad came back in January, they have been going full-speed writing and recording new music in preparation for the release of a new album in the next month or so. Once that comes out, their real work can begin. Chad is currently in the music program at BYU but is deferring for a year so that they will actually be able to devote all of their time to the band and see what can become of it. Hailing from Nashville as sons of a member of the widely acclaimed country group Diamond Rio, they understandably have a great deal of support in their endeavors. If you’re into John Mayer and Maroon 5, you will love these guys; they have an incredibly solid sound.
