The Square Life

I'm Reed Fish is a charming romantic comedy that reels you in at the very first scene. It's the story of Reed Fish (Jay Baruchel), host of a small local radio show in his hometown of Mud Meadows, where everybody knows much more than your name. Poised to marry town sweetheart Kate Peterson (Alexis Bledel), his feet suddenly turn cold at the unexpected return of his former crush and budding starlet, Jill (Schuyler Fisk). Reed Fish has been handed a life, and through this touching and humorous film must decide if it's the one he wants to keep. Brilliant performances, well-crafted dialogue, and an inventive soundtrack keep this low-budget indie film delightful from beginning to end.
